Amy Grentzer
Amy Grentzer is a Family Nurse Practitioner who works alongside Dr. Pedersen at Plastic Surgeons Of Akron. She now leads the non-surgical suite of aesthetic services including, but not limited to, neurotoxins, dermal fillers, lasers, and other non-invasive modalities.
Amy has acquired much experience in aesthetics over the years, obtaining Master Expert level certification from Allergan and is a top performer in the field of lasers in the United States. In 2021, she was recognized as one of the top 5 practitioners for Broad Band Light (BBL) Photofacial and Laser Hair Removal, as well as one of the top 20 practitioners in the US for Halo Resurfacing. Amy’s dedication to exceptional outcomes and continually improving her expertise makes her a valuable addition to the Plastic Surgeons Of Akron team.
Amy has developed a passion for aesthetics because she loves helping patients look and feel their best, which increases their confidence. She is inspired by her patients with different conditions or concerns and strives to help them achieve their goals. Amy attributes her overall success to her ability to relate to her patients on multiple levels. She has suffered from acne, scars, deep lines, dark spots, and excess hair growth herself, so she has a personal investment in helping others overcome the same concerns.
Amy holds two master’s degrees in nursing. Her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) obtained from The University of Phoenix and her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Ursuline University.
Outside of work, you can usually find Amy spending quality time with her three children and dog. She enjoys running and yoga, and is a 200-hour certified Baptiste trained yoga teacher. Amy has participated in multiple marathons and ultra marathons, and really prioritizes staying active.
